We use these decoys in both spring and fall before the flocks break up We find a field where birds are feeding and basically hunt them like ducks. Turkeys in agricultural areas follow predictable patterns We use a layout blind or even a popup blind with great results. Definitely not your typical turkey hunting tactic but it works. Works great in early spring before the flocks break up and again in the fall. 3 hens and 1 jake per 4
I like to touch up the sides and back with flat black spray paint for better long distance appearance
